72 days until check in! How exciting and scary at the same time! Plane tickets have been booked! Having my plane tickets booked is a big stress relief. There were so many different options for flights that choosing exactly what I wanted to do was difficult and took well over a week to decide. But I finally bit the bullet and bought them (ok I was also procrastinating on my senior thesis. That is probably the only reason I bought my ticket when I did).
Other exciting news? My bedding from living in the dorms has been dragged out of the closet, washed and vacuumed sealed. I am glad I didn't throw out those sheets, but they are way heavier than I remember/ They will have to go into my carry on instead of my checked luggage.
This week I have also bought my business clothing for traditions and classes! Received my new phone case. It is water proof and next to crush proof, just what I need for working at a pool! Also I have started Mission Timekeeper, a game like thing for Disney employees to learn about the history of Disney.  Things are starting to come together! One more term, ok most of one more term then off to Disney!

Me with the vacuum sealed package of sheets!

12 weeks until arrival! This week has been filled with meeting other students on facebook, and planning, planning and more planning.  I have talked with many really nice people that I can't wait to actually meet when I move to Disney. I have also looked for flights. Trying to decide if I want to arrive extremely early day of, or fly in the night before and stay in a hotel..... Which to choose? I haven't decided yet. Otherwise I should be studying for my finals, but my everything you need to know about Disney guide book is way more interesting. One more term then I am at Disney!

San Francisco was the next stop for me on my whirlwind of a week. This was for the character performer audition for Disney. After three and a half hours I got cut, so I will not be a performer for Disney while I am there, but after the audition I realized I am ok with that. I need a break from dance to deal with the burnout and overuse injuries. It will be really good for me to have a break, and focus on something other than performing for once :)
San Francisco is an interesting city to say the least. After multiple flights we got to our hotel and crashed. We spent the next morning wandering around union square. The shopping there is amazing, but extremely expensive. There are so many stores I have only heard of, but had never seen until today.
Here is me at the gate of china town.
Next to china town we found monkeys and giraffes!
My dad and at union square.
A big heart at union square!
A pigeon that was very interested  in my lunch. We were eight floors up in the Macy's store. Macy's has more than 10 resturants in its 8 story store!
Lunch!
Jack skeleton!
Hanging orbs inside the 7 story nike store!
San Francisco was certainly an experience. It seems like everyone smokes here and there are so many people everywhere. I guess I will get used to having many people around in Orlando! Not too long until I arrive there to be a lifeguard!

Accepted!

The lovely snow day (if you were there you hopefully remember the 18 inches of snow that we got that shut down school for three days) gave me a chance to fill out my application for the Disney College Program. Four hours after submitting my application I was asked to do the web based interview. I completed the web based interview the next morning and was asked for a phone interview. The phone interview took place 4 days later when school finally reopened. The interview went really well, then came the waiting period. The Interviewer says you should have your results in two to three weeks, but that did not stop me from checking on the progress of my status every day. Two weeks and three days later I received this email:

I was offered a Lifeguard position at Walt Disney World! I still have my character performer audition coming up. But, no matter what, I am moving to Florida right after school ends this year!
