Saludos Amigos

So yesterdays was Saludos Amigos, which is the welcome class and orientation to Coronado Springs Resorts. To sum up what I learned, the resort is HUGE!!!! If you want a mile long running path you can run the inside loop that connects all the buildings together. It has 1917 rooms and a convention center that is bigger than anything I have ever seen..... so huge resort, beautiful theming, lots of beautiful landscape work etc. I will post photos of the resort when I get the chance to go back and take photos. The major landmark for me is in the dig site (aka the largest of the pools) there just happens to be a 50 ft tall Mayan Pyramid.
At the end of my day I got my costumes. I was loaded down with a lot of clothing for the bus ride home. Costumes are one of the major reality moments of, wow, I actually work for Disney!
So here is a terrible photo of my basic lifeguard shirt and shorts combo, minus the hat, shoes, hip pack, etc. Not very flattering but it is actually pretty comfortable.
Also my uniforms have taken up over half my closet........ (The section of red and white are guard related clothing items.)

My swimsuit (which does not run according to normal sizing, it was a challenge finding one that fit, and then they gave me the rest that they had in stock {we get 5 swimsuits when we start}).
The little patch on the hip says Walt Disney World lifeguard, its really cute.

 My normal uniform.

And my winter suit. I look like a little kid going to ski lessons in this uniform.  They gave me the smallest size, but they are still huge....
I will post photos of my actually in my uniform when I get done with classes for the day. I work the next 10 days straight. Wish me luck :)
